Members of The Graduates, the Santa Barbara Newcomers, and friends and neighbors gathered at
Goleta Beach for a Thanksgiving feast. About fifty people who for whatever reason were not traveling
on this holiday weekend had perfect weather, superb food and good friends as accompaniment for the
celebration of Thanksgiving.

Sydney Tredick with a great Santa Barbara background! Almost looks like the "big W" from Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World!

Dale keeps an eye on a slowed-down Russ Snyder...Goleta beach is being worked over to make dunes to protect from winter waves, "hence the fence"...(ooh...sorry).

One of those Lilley self-portraits - Bob always gets this weird look concentrating on the backwards-camera...

Well, it's Elaine Toledo, and the back of Florence Michel, and Barb Snyder to the right. There's an unfamiliar face (to me at least) next to Barb.

Here's Gerry Aspen again, documenting the attractive table settings. Peter Kimball and Dale Charpentier in the background.

The food is definitely going to lose this fight! It's no match for a group of fifty hungry people.
PB280491.jpg
This is how thanksgiving is supposed to look! Food and friends and a nice day.

Now Peter Tredick is like the meerkat looking for danger. He's watching Jack, the grandson, who's pretty fast on his feet for a 20-month old!

Barry Sweet loads a plate, while David Woodford makes his getaway toward the table.
