Come join us and help decorate several horse-drawn carriages for this year's Fiesta Parade!  This is the 8th year that Newcomers have performed this service for the Fiesta Parade and the evening is a lot of fun.  We meet at 5:00 p.m. for margaritas and Fiesta snacks.  Over refreshments, Bill Luten, Parade Official, will give a brief overview of the history of Fiesta in Santa Barbara.  We will be given directions on decorating the carriages with fresh flowers and then break up into teams to work our magic.  No artistic talent or flower arranging skill is required.   Sandwiches, desserts, sodas and coffee will be available all evening.

This can be a dirty job, so wear jeans or casual clothes and sneakers or flat shoes.  Remember to bring a jacket or sweatshirt, as we will be working outdoors.  You will also need to bring plant clippers and/or strong scissors and a pair of gardening gloves because we will be working with fresh flowers.  You may want to bring a camera to photograph your handiwork.

When and Where: Thursday, August 1.  Margarita Party and carriage decoration starts at 5:00 pm at the Carriage House Museum.

Reservations: A Must!  Reservations limited to 100 people.
