University Club Open House - Wednesday September 18, 5:30 PM

Members of The Graduates -- An invitation from the University Club.

Members of the Santa Barbara Newcomers Graduates, attended a Prospective Member Open House at the University Club, 1332 Santa Barbara Street, on Wednesday, September 18th from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. The University Club of Santa Barbara has been a premier meeting place and private social club in the city since 1919. Facilities include:

· Seven Private Meeting Rooms
· Distinctive Setting for Weddings and Special Occasions
· Daily Dining
· Weekly Happy Hour
· Billiards Room
· Gala Events
· Reciprocal Club Privileges Around the World
We enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres by award-winning Executive Chef Thomas Abrahamsson. An interesting tour was arranged, and Graduates members spoke with Club representatives about use of the space for Graduates events (it looks good!). Club membership materials were made available.

University Club contact is Samantha Bonavia by email at Samantha@uclubofsantabarbara.org or by phone at (805) 966-0853 ext. 12.

Our University Club hostess presents the facility and some history as well. The building survived the 1925 earthquake, but not without damage.
