Please join us to enjoy an
inspirational evening with Margery Spielman who will present underwater
slides
and a discussion on the impact
that swimming with whales and dolphins has had.
Margery will also bring a
collection of her whimsical paintings.
She is an accomplished watercolor
artist who has exhibited her paintings in many major marine art expos,
including Hawaii and Paris.
Her work is in the collections of Jacques Cousteau,
Jean-Michel Cousteau and Mikhail
Gorbachev (and a few Graduates!).
A marine naturalist, Margery
currently teaches for Elderhostel, an international organization for adventurous
seniors.
Her slide presentations, blending
images of her artwork with exciting expedition photographs are fun and
informative.
Margery's primary goal, she
says, "is to inspire hope, wonder, and respect for life."
