We arrive at the Carriage Museum in Santa Barbara, ready for flower arranging, margaritas and food. Ellen's a former Newcomers and Graduates president; we're here for the sixth year in a row.

These floats, once decorated this evening, will be a part of the parade tomorrow -- part of the Old Spanish Days Fiesta in Santa Barbara. The Graduates will be working with Santa Barbara Newcomers to build flower decorations for carriages.

Ellen and Darlene. Ellen's sporting the new, Jamie Lee Curtis look!

Festival officialdom -- I lost his name in the rush, but his family has a long Santa Barbara history and his remarks rallied the troops for the duties ahead!

P7311643.jpg
Carlton Proctor and Laurie Anderson listen intently. Laurie's been on Bob/Ellen's decorating team form the very beginning.

P7311647.jpg
You'll probably see some familiar faces in here. Where's Waldo?

I see Ellen and Darlene, Laurie, Diana Slais, Larry Dam and others.
