The Graduate gourmet dinner on Saturday, April 12 featured an Australian menu
with great Australian wines to complement the food!

The format is the same as past Newcomer dinners, except that wine is
pre-selected and included in shared dinner costs on the night of the event.

Marilyn Conrad prepared the menu. She is an accomplished gourmet cook and an experienced down-under traveler.
(Have you been to Tasmania?) This was tasty outback food generic to the region.

- Austrailian pub appetizers
- Balmaine bugs (baby ridgeback shrimp)
- Outback lamb/potato stew with damper (outback bread)
- Melbourne root vegetables (parsnips and carrots)
- Pavolva (creme meringue with fruit)

Ann Wolverton handled reservations.

The pictures below were taken by Bob Lilley at the table provided by
Carol Lazar and Richard Cruz. This was one of four tables for the Australian meal.
