Graduates Hike - Saturday, December 13, 20039:00 AM

We're having a great time and staying "in tone" at the same time -- even having a great brunch! Save December 13 for the next hike! It's more fun with a larger group! Ideas for outings?

Elden?Cold Springs Trail, East Fork (Front Country)

Directions: Take Cold Springs Road (turn toward the mountains at the fire station on Sycamore Canyon Road – Rt. 192; it's between Ashley Road and Stoddard Lane), turn right on Mountain Drive, go 1/2 mile and park near the creek crossing. The trail starts to go up creek.

Description: Beautiful trail in lush canyon with creek, small pools, and alder trees. Chaparral vegetation at the higher elevation section of the trail. The 1.5 miles each way is a moderately easy hike, following the canyon.

Helpful hints: Be sure to bring drinking water. Lots of poison oak.

Friends: Bring 'em all!

Cost: None

Reservations: None -- Rain cancels.
