Hiking the Rattlesnake Trail, September, 2003

Elden Dellanina, former Newcomers' President Ilan Levi, and Bob Lilley
"did" the Rattlesnake Trail in September. This is indeed a great hiking trail,
with some climbing and some walking in a wide variety of scenery.

To give the rest of The Graduates a second chance to experience this trail,
we're featuring it again in October, and we'll send out several reminders!

...and at the first pool, take a close look at some trout.

Elden's attracting the fish with some ripples on the surface; it worked, a little.

The marine layer (OK, fog!) lifted a short time into the hike. Maybe we climbed up out of the fog.

Its a pretty, and rugged, place.

Ilan and Elden contemplate another pool. It's remarkable how much water was running after such a dry summer.

Nice scenery...

The stream is 'way down there in places.

More rocks and trees.

After driving up, and climbing up, we're still some distance from the top.
