Summer Solstice Party - June 20, 2003

Will you partake of the moist, mystical madness of Midsummer Night’s Eve? The Song of Summer Solstice is upon the land and we will celebrate its music with wine, nectar of the gods; with delicious tidbits to tempt the palate and delight the senses;
with laughter and song and rousing good fellowship; and with the passionate, soul stirring, blood pounding drumming of the fabulous “Budie” and his talented musicians.

Come dance with us, sing, eat and drink, laugh and love, and welcome the Magic of Midsummer’s Eve.

Revelry begins on Friday, June 20, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. in the enchanted garden of Elden and Sandy Dellanina. Listen for the drums!

Please dress to honor the gods and elves of Summer Solstice.
Bring musical instruments to join in the song and dance rhythms.
Be creative, be wild and outrageous, but be there!

Speaking of inviting neighbors, here's Andria (Eltinge) Newquist, from across the street. Not really just a neighbor, Andria is a former SB Newcomer. She's greeted by Sandy Dellanina.

P6201074.jpg
That mask doesn't seem to be bothering Michael McCaleb at this point, but it is unnerving to talk to a face whose expression does not move! Andria was accompanied by husband Dale, whose picture, alas, did not get taken! See the "Picnic with Friends" on the Events Scrapbook index page.
