----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Graduates were invited to join The Santa Barbara Newcomers at their St Patrick's Day dinner with Irish dancing, which was organized by the Music Around Town/Dancing committee.
It's almost a wearin' o' the green time, but you don't have to be Irish to celebrate on Saturday, March 15, at the newly remodeled Harry's Bar and Restaurant. In the private party room we will start with socializing and a no-host bar--complete with green beer for those who wish. Before we partake of a special buffet dinner, we will be entertained by regional Irish dancers, a group who compete at the championship level in national and international events. The buffet dinner includes the traditional corned beef and cabbage plus chicken O'Marinara, McCaesar Salad, Irish potatoes and vegetable combo, and dessert. After dinner we'll have an old fashioned sing-a-long of Irish, and maybe even some not-so-Irish songs. Can't remember the words? We'll provide them. So, wear somethin' green and enjoy a bit o' blarney as you revel with your kith 'n kin Newcomers. Or, may ye be in heaven an hour before the divil knows yer dead! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And, The Graduates held their own event,
