Holiday Extravaganza!

Awesome Door Prizes!

You'll want to put this festive event at the top of your holiday list! It's that time of year again!!! We hope that you will plan to celebrate the holidays in true Santa Barbara style at the elegant Montecito Country Club. This is your chance to dust off those "dress-up" clothes and build some memories with your newcomer friends. This party is a not-to-be-missed event for all newcomers, both couples and singles. Be sure to get in your reservation now! After a scrumptious dinner you will have a chance to kick up your heels on the dance floor -  or just relax and enjoy the music.

The evening will begin with a no-host bar cocktail reception accompanied by special hors d'oeuvres. Following the reception, a delicious three-course dinner will be served in the Grand Ballroom.  Dinner will begin with a salad of field greens with sun-dried tomatoes and blue cheese balsamic vinaigrette. Your choice of entrees includes:
    1) Roast beef tenderloin in a crust of roasted garlic served with whipped potatoes and a port wine sauce
    2) Salmon Florentine crusted in bread crumbs and finished with a spicy sweet red pepper sauce
    3) A delectable vegetarian selection
Following dinner, you will get to savor selections from the luscious dessert buffet.

There was a pre-party at the home of Jerry and Cindy Lomonaco, and then the dinner-dance at the Montecito Country Club.

Attendees, from the pictures:

Cindy and Jerry Lomonaco, Tom and Carol Schleck, Mark and Barbara Palmer, Jo and Robin Hodge, John and Kathy Hartnett, Bob and Pat Fulmer, Richard and Linda Ring, Larry Dam, Marlene and Jack Sheehan, Ellen and Bob Lilley, Rick Marcellin and Leonor Elias.

In one picture, we see the entire crowd looking under the chair seats for the tags which signify "winning" the centerpieces. Very noisy and confused scene! (Maybe the next time, the tags might be under the coffee-cup saucers!)
