Mark
and Barbara Palmer are hosting this special Graduates event at their
home!
Committee
volunteers welcome!
It's more fun when you're involved!
JULY 4TH SOCIAL
The unobstructed view
of the Santa Barbara harbor from the lovely yard of Eucalyptus Hill residents
Barb and Mark Palmer is not to be missed. When you arrive on the
property at 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 4, you will immediately notice that
the Palmer home is architecturally pleasing and that the home exudes an
aura of welcome and warmth.
The oak-studded, terraced
landscape invites a stroll around the yard. Join your friends in
the rear of the home for a low-key, relaxed opportunity to socialize before
the spectacular birds-eye-view of the fireworks display commences.
You will need to bring nibbles (savory hors d'oeuvres or dessert, with
a July 4th touch!) to share, a beverage for your own consumption, and lawn
chairs or a blanket for your viewing comfort.
In keeping with the holiday
spirit, plan to wear any combination of red, white or blue clothing.
(A "red, white,&
blue" group picture will go in the memory book/web page)
Reservations, which will
be limited to 75 participants, must be made by June 28. Please call
Cindy or Jerry Lomonaco.
Please
join us in making this gathering even more festive! We are going to have
our own old-fashioned parade and we need your help.
Please
bring an instrument so you can march and 'play' in the parade. Tuba, Trombone,
Drums, Flute, recorder, cymbals, any instruments you wish. And if you don't
have one of these, please create one comb with paper, pot-lid-cymbals,
bells, sticks to clack together (they used croquet sticks in the Solstice
parade!), use your wildest imagination. You can even wear your tap shoes
and bring your baton to twirl!
Everyone
will be in the parade. We'll parade around the Palmer's property so no
worry about being caught being silly. So come for the fun.
And,
remember, Red, White, and Blue are the colors of the day. Be festive!
Oh, ...
and don't forget your hors d'oeuvres or dessert for sharing and your beverage
for your consumption, as well as your chair or blanket seating for watching
the fireworks.
