Also: don't forget to bring your bag lunch, water, sturdy walking shoes, camera, binoculars. Friends of Graduates are welcome.  In order to plan for docents, we will need your reservation by Monday, Oct 18.

Join other Graduates on a docent guided hike through the UC Sedgwick Reserve on Saturday, October 23, 9:30-11:30 am. The 5900 acre reserve is located off Brinkerhoff Road near Los Olivos. The reserve is actively managed by UCSB and is currently used as a teaching site with over 40 active research projects. The large, unspoiled area was formerly a ranch and includes grasslands, foothill woodlands and oak savanna groves. 

Docent led groups will be small and of varied hiking abilities and interests. To reserve, contact Linda Beuret or Ellie Freese.
