GRADUATES: WE HAVE BEEN INVITED TO HELP DECORATE THE FIESTA CARRIAGES AGAIN THIS YEAR WITH THE NEWCOMERS. 

Following is the Newcomer message in their July Newsletter: 

Description: Come join us and help decorate wonderful vintage horse-drawn carriages for Friday's Old Spanish Days Parade. This is the 11th year that Newcomers has participated in this way, and the evening is rewarding and a lot of fun. We will meet at 5:30pm for margaritas and Mexican food. Afterward we will break up into teams guided by Newcomer decorating experts and work on individual carriages. Margaritas, soft drinks, a Mexican food buffet and desserts will be available throughout the evening. Come dressed in jeans or casual attire with comfortable shoes since we will be standing all evening. Remember to bring a jacket or sweatshirt, as we will be working outside. You will also need to bring plant clippers and/or strong scissors, as well as a pair of gardening gloves, because we will be working with fresh flowers. You might want to bring a camera.

Reservations: Yes. Limited to 100 people. Former Newcomers and other guests are welcome, but no one under 21 will be admitted.
