Rose Farm tour for The Graduates -- Saturday June 11, 11:00am
----

On Sat. June 11th, at 11 a.m., we enjoyed a 1 hour tour, followed by lunch at the Rose Story Farm in Carpinteria.  We experienced the splendor of 18,000 rose plants in 150 varieties on their 15 acre farm.  The tour includes a Rose Story Farm's booklet and a fresh rose sample along with your lunch on their patio.  You may also visit the nursery and gift boutique, which features rose related products.

Reservations are a must, as they cannot accommodate anyone at the last minute.  Please wear comfortable shoes and bring a hat, as this is a walking tour.  Carpooling is recommended as there is limited parking.
Darlene Amundsen did reservations.  The cost is $35 per person.

Directions to the farm are as follows.
101 South to Carpinteria and exit at Casitas Pass Road, turn left towards the mountains.  Go 1 mile to the stop sign at Casitas Pass Road and turn right.  Turn left 1/2 mile later at 5950 Casitas Pass Road, between 2 tall pine trees.  Drive up to the end of the driveway, inside the gate and turn right.  Follow driveway up to the parking area.
