Carriage Decorating for the Old Spanish Days Parade
When: Thursday, August 3, 5:30-10pm.

Description: Come join us and help decorate some incredible vintage horse-drawn carriages for Friday's Old Spanish Days Parade. Let's connect to make this 12th year that the Newcomers has participated Our Best Year Ever. Start off the evening at 5:30pm with margaritas, soft drinks and a scrumptious Los Arroyos buffet. Sample yummy desserts straight from Newcomer kitchens. Then our fresh flower mavens will break us up into teams to adorn our carriages. Come dressed in jeans or casual attire. Comfortable shoes, jackets or sweatshirts are recommended since we will be standing outside all evening (bring your own chair, if you'd like). Bring along your plant clippers and/or strong scissors (marked with your name) as well as a pair of gardening gloves. And if you want to get some priceless photos, dig out your Brownie, Kodak or Nikon.
