A Cruise on the Lane Victory - September 10, 2006

Cruise on the "S.S. Lane Victory" -- Sunday, September 10, All Day

The Lane Victory is an authentic WWII Coast Guard ship run by volunteers that sails out of Long Beach.  There are only 6 cruises each summer.

Sunday, September 10th is the last cruise this year.

It is a full day at sea with breakfast, lunch, engine room tours, live music, memorabilia, WWII reminiscences, and a surprise enemy attack.

My "very hard to impress" little sister had a great time and highly recommends it.

With Airbus transportation from Santa Barbara, all day cruise with breakfast and lunch included on board is $150 for adults and $115 for kids under 15. We can take up to 47 people, but we need a minimum of 25. We need to be on board by 8am, so we'll leave Santa Barbara at 5:30am. We should be returning by 9pm even with a stop for dinner.

Please email Joyce Searls right away to reserve and send a check by August 31st, if you want to come along. Checks should be made out to "The Graduates" and sent to Joyce Searls.

All Graduates, Newcomers and their friends are invited.
