On Thursday, June 28th, you are invited to meet at 12:00 noon for a delicious lunch at Max's Restaurant to view 30 watercolors, oil monotypes, collages, and acrylics of Mary Freericks. Following lunch, the group will take a short walk to Help-U-Sell Real Estate, 3400 State St., to continue the tour of Mary's paintings including Yosemite and Santa Barbara scenes. Then on to mosaics by artisan and artist Elizabeth Gallery, just back from her study in Italy.

The group will view wall hangings and mosaic tables of Elizabeth in her new Santa Barbara Showroom on 1125 East Ortega Street off Milpas. Elizabeth will discuss her ancient replicas as well as her original contemporary works and explain her use of the double reverse technique. Then you will visit her studio and see her cutting tools, gold mosaic pieces, and works in progress. Light refreshments will be provided.

Seven out of nine graduates made it to lunch at Max's Restuarant and were delighted to view about thirty of Mary Freerick's paintings.  We then wallked to Help U Sell Real Estate to see another half a dozen of her local paintings including Goleta Beach and Shoreline. 

Some of us continued on the Elizabeth Gallery's Gallery and viewed her amazing mozaics.
She was back from her recent workshops in Italy.We even viewed her lovely garden and tasted figs from her tree.

A surprise visit to Santa Barbar Art Gallery on Mason Street concluded our wonderfull afternoon.
