Save the dates of Sept.
16. Oct. 28, Nov. 11 and Nov. 18,
all Sundays and starting
at 3:00 in the sanctuary of the Unitarian Society
at the corner of Santa Barbara
St. and Arrellaga, across from the Alice Keck Park.
All performances start at
3:00 and admission is $10, payable at the door, with all proceeds going
to the artists.
This is a wonderful opportunity
to hear and experience fantastic music (Steinway piano included) at a very
affordable price.
The September performance
features solo pianist EGLE JANULEVICIUTE who will perform a classical program
of Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Liszt, Bach and Debussy. She holds five artistic
diplomas and degrees, the latter being a Doctorate of Musical Arts from
UCSB. Born in Lithuania, she has won several international piano competitions.
She has produced several commercial recordings, and her latest, a CD of
J.S. Bach keyboard works, will be available for purchase after the concert.
