Introduction to "Hearts Adaptive Riding"  September 4, 4:30 pm

COME AND ENJOY A LATE AFTERNOON AND LEARN ABOUT "HEARTS ADAPTIVE RIDING"

Hearts Adaptive Riding is a wonderful SB nonprofit program dedicated to providing empowering, educational and fun therapeutic horsemanship to physically, mentally and psychologically disabled children and adults.

Started in 1985 with 2 horses and a handful of students, they now serve over 2,200 community members, from ages 3-8.  We will watch a class and a video, hear their heart-warming stories, and enjoy wine and appetizers.  You will be able to walk around the facility and maybe even feed the horses some carrots!

When: Thursday, September 4th from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Cost: $5

Reservation: Limit-25 people.  e-mail or call Darlene Amundsen.  Upon confirmation mail your check payable to The Graduates, to Darlene.

Directions: From the south take 101 North, exit at El Sueno and turn left.  Hearts is located on an annex of Calle Real next to El Sueno Rd.  Head up a steep hill past the Sheriff's station.  As you crest the hill, make a sharp hairpin turn to the right and drive through the Hearts gate.  Follow the unpaved driveway and bear left when you reach the large arena,  The office building is at the end of the parking lot, past the corrals.  Call 964-1519 if lost.
