In January we are having two concerts, on January 13th and 27th, 
both on Sunday afternoons at the usual time of 3:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Society Church.
You pay at the door $10 (remember to mention that you are with The Graduates.)

On January 27th at 3:00 p.m., pianist Humberto Almeida will perform a  recital featuring the J.S. Bach Toccata in D Major, and the English Suite in  G minor, and Liszt's Les jeux d'eaux 'a la villa d'Este Ballade no.2 in B  minor. Humberto, who is from Brazil, studied with Paul Berkowitz at UCSB,  and received his DMA in piano performance in 2005. For the last 6 months,  Humberto has been the pianist in residence at the Unitarian Society, and  this is his farewell concert as he will be returning to Brazil in a few  weeks. Humberto will close the program with the Ginastera Sonata op.22 No  1, a complex, modern piece from one of the greatest Latin American  composers.
