Sunset Cruises on the Ranger - Through August 2009; 5-7 pm

Sunset Cruises on the Ranger
Evenings, 5:00 to 7:00 pm -- See dates below

The SB Maritime Museum (SBMM) and Captain Ed Venable will offer Graduates several opportunities throughout the summer and fall to cruise along the SB coast aboard the Ranger. This is a chance to see the shoreline and mountains from a different perspective, while also inspecting a floating Museum exhibit. Ranger is a 42-ft sport-fishing boat built in 1917 and refurbished with SBMM donations. She is a classic design of the era with large varnished deckhouse, fantail stern, and fishing cockpit.

Each cruise is limited to 6 passengers. Both individuals and pre-arranges groups are welcome to make reservations. Additional dates are available and will be arranged as needed. Passengers should wear soft-soled shoes, bring a jacket, and are encouraged to bring a beverage of choice and an easily-passed snack to share (no dips or potato chips please). All passengers must be able to climb steps and walk on the deck of a moving boat unaided, if necessary. Passengers will also receive an entry pass to the SBMM.
