Join us for an afternoon at the Polo Fields and enjoy a picnic-box lunch made up of a variety of salads, a dinner roll and cookies for dessert.  Part of the group's enjoyment will be receiving sparkling wine from a picnic table extension from the boot of Garrison Bielen's vintage Rolls-Royce.

Remember to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on, and please be prepared with sun protection. Polo, after all, occurs in wide-open spaces!  

Where: The Polo Fields in Carpinteria.  Enter the Polo Fields at the Field 3 gate at the corner of Nidever Road and Via Real.  You might want to bring a chair and an umbrella as we will be in the sun.  There's a possibility there could be some chairs and umbrellas for rent. 

When: Sunday, August 23rd

Time: 12:30 P.M.  The games start at 1 P.M., but I have requested to have a staff member speak to us about the rules of the game.  If this can be arranged, we need to be there by 12:30.  The program you receive when you enter the field will have some printed rules of the game.

Cost: $15 for lunch and sparking wine.  You will pay an entrance fee of $10 per person when you drive in the Polo Field area.
