Description: Join us for an amazing tour of Hearts Therapeutic
Equestrian Center, formerly Hearts Adaptive Riding Program. See first-hand
how a horse is employed to increase the capabilities and independence
of children and adults with special needs. Watch as our riders experience
the joy of this therapeutic program, which focuses on their abilities,
not their disabilities. Peruse our new Tack Shack, where refurbished
tack is sold to provide student scholarships, and hear about our innovative
program for veterans, called "Horses and Heroes".

Cost: $5 Send check, payable to The Graduates,
to Ellie Tuazon. The cost is to cover wine and cheese as well as other
goodies, which we will enjoy in the Hearts rose garden afterwards.
Where: Hearts Therapeutic Equestrian Center off Calle Real
Directions: From the north, exit 101 at Turnpike Rd and turn
towards the mountains. Turn right at Calle Real, then turn left at the
sign that says Sheriffs Dept. There is also a Hearts Adaptive
sign. Follow the road uphill until the next Hearts Adaptive sign and turn
right onto a dirt road. Follow this until you see horse trailers, and park
in the parking area.
From the south, exit 101 at El Sueno, and make an immediate left on Calle
Real. Take the first right at the sign that says Sheriffs Dept,
(there is also a sign that says Hearts Adaptive Riding) and follow
the directions above.
