Lawn Bowling - June 15 - 4 pm

JOIN THE GRADUATES FOR A FUN LATE AFTERNOON OF LAWN BOWLING!

The members of the MacKenzie Lawn Bowling Club are sponsoring an afternoon for the Graduates on Tuesday, June 15th, at 4 p.m.   If you have never lawn bowled before, it is not difficult and there will be someone there to give you instructions.  The location is at the upper MacKenzie Park on Los Positas.  

They will be providing wine and cheese for us after we are through bowling. There will be no charge for this event, but we need your reservations so they know how much wine and cheese to purchase.  We need your reservation by June 8th.  If you make a reservation and need to cancel, be sure to let Merris know.

The Graduates enjoyed an afternoon learning the art of lawn bowling. The MacKenzie Park Lawn Bowls Club provided us with two instructors. We found gripping the small like bowling ball and rolling it to one side or the other of the target allowed the ball to curve into the target. We were provided wine and appetizers for our afternoon of lawn bowling. Following are the Graduates who were in attendance:

Merris Yarbro who organized the event, Alan Alaimo, Darlene Amundsen, Allan & Joyce Anderson, Mary Freericks, Roger Hoyt and Mooneen Mourad.
